Most people can name more than a handful of christmas movies but very few where thanksgiving is the holiday backdrop. So let me introduce/re-introduce you to not only one of my favorite comedies but also the best turkey day film selection. Starring two comedic greats, Steve Martin and John Candy, Planes, trains and automobiles is a must see that will have you reciting quotes as if you starred in the movie yourself.
[waking up after sharing the same bed on the motel]
Neal: Del... Why did you kiss my ear?
Del: Why are you holding my hand?
Neal: [frowns] Where's your other hand?
Del: Between two pillows...
Neal: Those aren't pillows!
[they both leap out of bed, screaming and shaking their hands in disgust]
